This frequently requested recipe is originally from a Betty Crocker cookbook which my Mom received as a wedding present.

Blueberry Buckle

(Betty Crocker Cookbook )

 Cream together:

·         ½ cup margarine

·         ½ cup sugar

·         1 well beaten egg

Combine dry ingredients

·         2 cups flour

·         2 ½ tsp bk powder

·         ¼ tsp salt

Alternately add dry and milk to creamed mixture

·         ½ cup milk

Blend in

·         2 cups blueberries

Topping:

·         ½ cup sugar

·         ½ cup flour

·         ½ tsp. cinnamon

·         ¼ cup margarine

Mix well and pour over the cake mixture which you have turned into a well greased 9x11 pan. 

Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 min.
