"Le Chef"

If you want something charming and fun to watch --and very French ---you might want to try Le Chef.

We watched it over the holidays on Netflix and found it to be a pleasant little comedy.

It is a 2012 French movie by director Daniel Cohen, and stars Jean Reno and Michael Youn.

A veteran chef is in danger of losing his restaurant until he finds a kooky assistant chef.

The subtitles are well done, so it was easy to watch and enjoy.

Other French movies with subtitles we have thoroughly enjoyed, although they are not about food, are:

Amelie
The Hedgehog
The Women on the 6th Floor
My Afternoons with Margueritte
