Asparagus Centerpiece

We are starting to see some nice asparagus in the grocery store.  Asparagus always reminds me of Spring.  Can't wait until we have local asparagus but that's a month or so away.

Just can't resist posting my centerpiece from Tom's 60th birthday celebration last October.  It uses fresh asparagus as the greenery.

I also used it in the vases in the water underneath the flowers to hide the stems of the flowers. 

It could be done with any Spring flower and look just as good.  It was a good conversation starter.
