Zach Galifianakis “This is a Gardening Show”

Funny. Lots of giggles. Silly but serious. 

Best part is the Art-Linkletter-style “Kids Say the Darnedest Things” segments.

Zach is a bit irreverent but it is his genuine interest in learning to grow food is why the show is so good.  

My friend Ellen told me about it. Had to search through Netflix archives to find it but it is worth it. 

There are 6 episodes. It came out April 22, 2026 for Earth Day. 

It's filmed in rural British Columbia where he has lived for the last 10 years.  

We first saw Zach in the quirky, comedy series called "Born to Death" with Ted Danson and Jason Swartzman which ran for three seasons back in 2009 on HBO.  It's a a very good series if you like deeply flawed yet lovable characters, set in Brooklyn and in Manhattan in New York City.
